Mental Chatter and Mental model. The problem is when people do not recognize that they have mental models. The more we believe in mental model the more evidence we get of the world. We have the option of deciding which is the emotional domain we are going to occupy. We make decision ourselves. We face such a situation in our life dozens of times everyday. We choose to occupy the space whether we are angry, depressive, etc. We do the choice. This is because of mental chatter that we have and the mental model. Every New Year we promise to do certain changes to our lives. Behavioral changes are not possible without changes in mental models. As we become a different person we can easily change our behavior.

Mental screen saver.
There are times in our lives when we have breaks. Our minds go somewhere at these moment. At this time we need to consciously replay what is going on in our lives. Play over the mental screen savers in our minds.

Appreciation and Gratitude.
We need to remember that we are incredibly privileged. Consciously think about how many good things you do have in your life. There are hundreds of people who would be happy to change places with you. We need to appreciate what we have and be grateful for that.

Be other-centered.
We choose to stay aside or to «break the rocks».

Labels of our life.
Often we face labels «good thing» and «bad thing». No matter what happens in the life, there is the moment when we get into terrible situation we start suffering. Bad instant suffering begins. But after some time we can realize that it was actually pretty good. Do not hurry to label the situation. Ask yourself is there is anything that we can do to make it a good thing. This method will make you incredibly resilient. Other people will see that whatever happens to you you will feel good and not stressed of some situations.

Mindfulness
What it is we have to do to make our life enjoyable. We are all taught to set the goals for ourselves by other people around us. Sometimes we fail to reach those goals. Goals are important because they give the directions. Once the direction is there forget about the goal. We need to focus on what actions we need to take in order to get to those goals. Outcomes are beyond our control. Put all the energy into activity and not on the goal — «Invest in process. Not outcome.» Whatever we do we need to do it consciously.

Benevolent Universe
Is the universe friendly? Most of us think that universe is indifferent to us. But what if it is false? What if universe is friendly towards us? What is it gives you exactly what you need like your parents do? If we believe that universe is benevolent our lives will improve significantly. The more we look the more evidence we will find.
